ISLAMABAD – President National Youth Assembly (NYA), Hannan Ali Abbasi, said that the government of Pakistan should lift the ban over student politics on Monday.
He said that student politics helped in nourishment of the future leadership and these were the nurseries of a democratic system.
President NYA, while talking to The News Tribe, said that the sole purpose of NYA was to unveil the hidden qualities of the young educated generation of Pakistan.
He said that the youth of Pakistan have the great potential but unfortunately they lacked the relevant forums which enable them to utilize their skills and energy.
Hannan Ali Abbasi also said that students should actively participate in the political activities of the country but should avoid the path of violence.
Furthermore, he said that more than 81 members of NYA participated in the local bodies election held on May 30 last month in Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.
National Youth Assembly was the only available forum which provide a chance to young educated students to share their innovative ideas on reforms and legislation to different government departments, said Hannan Ali Abbassi.
He said that the energetic youth should join him in this mission to work for the betterment and prosperity of Pakistan.
