Women Protection Bill Passed In Punjab Assembly

LAHORE – The Standing Committee of Punjab Assembly has approved the “Women Protection Bill”.

According to the sources, the men would not be allowed to hide their salary from their better-halves.

The context of the bill also reads that the women would be entitled with a certain lump of amount from the total salary of husband.

The bill has been approved to empower women and protect their rights. Every district would have an officer who would be responsible for addressing the relevant issues of the district.

The bill is intended to limit the financial exploitation of women as well. The police would take action against those men who would be nominated by the relevant district officer.
