ISLAMABAD – The Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar, chairs post budget press conference in Islamabad.
The Finance Minister, while talking to the media, said that 2 to 2.5 million jobs would be created during the current year.
Dar also said that the implementation on schemes for youth has been initiated.
He said that the budget 2015-16 would bring long term fruits and prosperity to the country. While responding to the media, he said that he would be ready to clear the ambiguities related to the budget.
He further said that the burden has been lifted from the middle class and salaried people and the daily consumer items’ prices have been kept nearly constant.
“Minimum wages have been increased up to Rs13000, regulatory duty on mobile phones has not been increased.” Dar added. “Ad-hoc allowance has been merged to increase salaries by 7.5%.”
