MQM stage protest in Karachi against water crisis

KARACHI – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) protested against water shortage in Karachi on Burns road.

While addressing to protest, MQM leader, Khalid Maqbool Siddique said that if government doesn’t resolve water crisis, we will stop the water of Chief Minister house.

MQM leader  alleged that corruption of several crore rupees is being committed in the name of free water tankers.




 

The protestors said that water shortage can create threats to law and order in the city. The leaders said that the projects worth billions are going on in the whole country with the money earned from Karachi but citizens of Karachi do not have the basic facility like water.
