Foreign Investors Repose Trust In Pakistan’s Economy: said Dar

ISLAMABAD – The finance minister Ishaq Dar claimed that foreign investors and international institutions have repose trust and confidence in PAkistan’s economy.

Finance Minister Ishaq Dar while presenting the budget for fiscal year 2015-16 on the floor of the National Assembly said, ” Pakistan’s economy is on road to recovery, we were on the verge of default in 2014 but PML-N leadership successfully averted that situation.

Dar claimed that inflation rate is on lowest level in last eleven years. He also aimed to increase tax collection and decrease fiscal deficit to 3.5 percent by the end of 2017.

 

He also said that government is taking measure to resolve energy crisis as soon as possible. He said Rs.142 billions will be spent on several power projects.
