Federal Government Demands Resignation From Governor Sindh

KARACHI – The federal government of Pakistan has sought resignation from the Governor Sindh, Ishrat ul Ibad, on Thursday.

Federal government has maintained that there is no justification of his staying in governorship after the heavy allegations put on him by late Saulat Mirza.

Governor Sindh, Ishrat ul Ibad, said in reply that, “I have some private works to do, and i will resign soon after the completion of those works”.

He further requested the government to give him one month time, and after that he will serve his resignation to the federal government.

Federal government has taken provincial government in confidence regarding seeking resignation from Governor Sindh.
