LAHORE – The provincial law minister, Rana Sana Ullah has said that all the PTI candidates involved in electoral rigging and irregularities should be booked.
He was talking to media while expressing his concerns over the Local Bodies Elections in KPK.
The Election Commission of Pakistan declared the recently held local bodies pollings null and void in some constituencies.
According to the government sources, the action had been taken by the election commission on the perusal of complaints received from different areas of KPK.
Around 300 complaints were received by the ECP alone from Peshawar district – relating to rigging, firing and breach of electoral code of conduct.
The senior leadership of Jamat-e-Islami had also called in a meeting to discuss the progress of local bodies polls.
