Prime Minister orders to reduce duration of load shedding in Ramazan

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ordered ministry of water and energy to reduce the duration of power load shedding in the holy month of Ramazan.

According to the sources of PM house, Nawaz Sharif has strictly said that the duration of load shedding in Ramazan should not exceed 6 hour in urban areas and 8 hours in ruler areas.

Moreover, PM also directs that supply of petrol and LPG should be made available in all areas of country at all costs.

 

Nawaz Sharif said uninterrupted fuel supply to power houses would help bring 630 megawatt electricity to the national grid. He instructed to use Pakistan Railways for the transportation of fuel  to power plants.

He also directed to reactivate the dormant power stations.
