ISLAMABAD – The Advisor to Prime Minister of Pakistan on National Security and Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, said that Pakistan was ready to resume talks with India over core issues including Kashmir.
Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan was always ready to resolve their disputes with India on equal basis, adding that Pakistan was ready to strengthen its ties with all neighboring countries including India.
He expressed such notions in response to Indian External Affairs Minister’s statement on Pakistan-India relations and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Sartaj Aziz said he was amazed over the Indian External Affairs Minister’s statement that Pak-China Corridor was unacceptable to India.
Pakistan does not interfere in other countries’ bilateral relations and expects the same from others. He said that Pakistan had been repeatedly warning India not to indulge itself in the internal affairs of Pakistan.
Furthermore, he also lauded the response of Chinese Foreign Minister, to Indian concerns over CPEC.
