National solidarity is the best answer to enemies of Pakistan; Nawaz

QUETTA – The Prime Minister Of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, said that enemy is coming towards Pakistan with their jaws wide open, and we should remain united to foil all the nefarious designs of enemy on Tuesday.

Addressing the provincial political leadership in Quetta on Tuesday, he said the enemy is using different tactics to divide the nation on sectarian and ethnic grounds but we will thwart their designs with unity.

Nawaz Sharif regretted the Indian statement against Pakistan-China economic corridor project.

He said their statement has clearly exposed the Indian designs of hegemony. He appreciated China for rejecting the baseless reservations of India on the mega project.

Earlier, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said Government is determined to eradicate terrorism and extremism from the country.

He was presiding over a high level meeting on law and order situation in Balochistan in the backdrop of recent Mastung incident.

He said Pakistan’s enemies are not happy with the country’s progress and development and want to weaken it through such incidents.

He said that operation Zarb-e-Azb going on successfully in North Waziristan would continue till the elimination of last terrorist.

The prime Minister directed for immediate arrest of the perpetrators of Masturag incident and bring them to justice.

Earlier, Chief Secretary Balochistan briefed the meeting on law and order situation in the province in general and Mastung incident in particular.

On the occasion, the meeting offered fateha for the departed souls of Mastung victims.

Radio Pakistan’s Quetta representative told that the Governor Balochistan Mohammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, State Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Mir Jam Kamal, Minister for States and Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch, Senior Provincial Minister Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Provincial Home Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, Commander Southern Command Lt. Gen. Nasir Khan Janjua and IG Frontier Corps, Balochistan Police are attending the meeting.

During his stay, the Prime Minister will also preside over an All Parties Conference (APC) at Governor House in Quetta.

The APC has been convened by the Chief Minister Balochistan to evolve a strategy after Mastung incident.
