LAHORE – Pakistan Tahreek-i-Insaf Punjab Assembly members on Saturday held a demonstration outside the assembly to protest reinstatement of Rana Sanaullah as law minister.
They said Sanaullah was a prime accused in the killing of 14 supporters of Dr Tahirul Qadri in Model Town and his reinstatement was a mockery of our system.
The joint investigation team (JIT) was constituted by the Punjab government in order to pave the way for Sanaullah, they said.
They further said that nobody would have any problem on the reinstatement of Rana Sanaullah if the court had cleared him of charges.
