DERA ISMAIL KHAN – Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Provincial Minister, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur has been booked for allegedly harassing police personnel and polling staff.
According to sources, Ali Amin Khan Gandapur stormed at a Union Council, Hemat, polling station accompanied by his personal security guards.
“Ali Amin Khan tried to forcefully take away ballot papers along with himself, but the local people gathered and surrounded his vehicle,” said sources.
Sources said the enraged mob damaged his vehicle by hurling stones and also some furious youngsters tried to set a light his vehicle, adding that provincial minister’s companion opened aerial firing.
The Deputy Commissioner reached at the site and helped in escaping the minister away from the annoyed mob, told sources.
“Election commission has been informed in verbal as well in written against illegal act of provincial minister and also submitted two cases against him in Saddar police station”, Said DC.
