PESHAWAR – Jamat-e-Islami has shown severe concerns of rigging in the recently held local bodies elections held in KPK.
According to the sources, the senior leadership of JI has called in a meeting to discuss the progress of yesterday’s local bodies polls.
It is said that the important decisions are expected in the upcoming meeting of the party.
The Election Commission of Pakistan has also acknowledged the concerns of JI and has said that the elections would be conducted again in the constituencies proving rigging.
the provincial election commission and returning officers have also been asked by ECP to inform the commission about the complaints received.
