LEEDS – The right arm fast pacer of English team, James Anderson, has achieved another milestone by taking 400 wickets in his test career on Friday.
Anderson achieved this landmark during the second first day of test match against New Zealand.
To complete his 400th wicket, he got out Martin Guptill of New Zealand on the first inning of New Zealand.
By this, he became the first bowler of England to take more than 400 wickets in the test cricket.
It is to be mentioned that record for taking most wickets in the test cricket hold by Muttiah Muralitharan of Sri Lanka who took 800 wickets.
On the other side, affected by the rain, first day of the match closed at 297 runs for New Zealand on 8 wickets.
