LAHORE – The right arm fast bowler of Pakistan, Muhammad Sami, may be replaced by left arm pace man, Junaid Khan, in the second and third One Day International (ODI) against Zimbabwe in Lahore.
Muhammad Sami has its come back after a very long time in the Pakistan team and played two T20’s and one ODI against Zimbabwe in the home series.
According to sources, there is a grave possibility that Junaid Khan may replace Muhammad Sami in the second ODI against Zimbabwe to be played on May 29.
Depending upon Sami’s performance in the preceding matches of the series, the action becomes inevitable to be taken as Sami did not produce good results in the previous three matches he played in the Zimbabwe tour to Pakistan.

During the first T20 match played on May 22, Muhammad Sami bowled four overs and gave away 36 runs and taken 3 wickets.
During Second T20 match played on May 24, Muhammad Sami again bowled four overs and gave away 38 runs and managed to take one wicket only.
However, on the first One Day International he bowled only seven overs and gave away 63 runs at an average of 9 runs per over with no wicket to his name.
Sources said that coach and captain considering to give chance to Junaid Khan by replacing Muhammad Sami in the second ODI match on May 29.
