Police In Protest Against Lawyers’ Brutality

LAHORE – The Police Services of Pakistan (PSP) has formally written a letter, expressing severe reservations, to Inspector General Punjab Police, Mushtaq Sukhera.

According to the sources, the police dispatched a letter to IG Punjab. The context of the letter reads that the decision of Government without hearing the stance of police was condemnable.

The PSP condemned the killing of lawyers but the reasons of such an action should be sorted out through in-depth analysis.

According to the sources, the PSP called the suspension of DPO and DSP “disappointing” as it would discourage the police officers.

“Without listening to the plight of Police and issuing orders in the aftermath of violent protests is highly disappointing for the department as a whole.” The letter read.
