ISLAMABAD – Qazi Khalilullah said Thursday that Pakistan is “well aware of India’s alleged plans to sabotage the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and its campaign against the corridor”.
Before this, a series of statements by military and civilian leaders have also been issued regarding Indian involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan.
The Foreign Office spokesperson, however, called atttention during the weekly media briefing that steps are being taken to ensure the completion of the project which is vital to the entire region.
On question regarding the recent statement by Indian Defense Minister, he responded that “The Indian defense minister’s statements have confirmed Pakistan’s apprehensions regarding India’s involvement in terrorist activities in the country.”
Qazi Khalilullah further said that Pakistan has been the worst victim of terrorism with more than 50,000 lives lost and the country’s economy incurring losses of more than $100 billion.
