ISLAMABAD – The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, chairs the meeting for reviewing the progress been made so far in Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
According to the sources, a high level meeting is on its way, chaired by the Prime Minister. The attendants of the meeting include Interior Minister Ch Nisar, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Defence Minister Khwaja Asif.
Army chief General Raheel Sharif and DG ISI Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhter are also present in the meeting. The overall progress of the operation is the subject matter of discussion.
According to the sources, the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) is also under discussion. The Prime Minister was also briefed on the plan pertaining to the repatriation of the IDPs.
