LAHORE – The star Pakistani Cricketer, Mukhtar Ahmad, who shines in both T20’s, has snatched another record from the worldly acknowledge player, Sanath Jayasuria.
During his first three T20 international matches Mukhtar Ahmad set another international record of scoring most runs in the first three T20 matches of the career.
Sources revealed that Mukhtar Ahmad, who was given, “Men of The Series” award in a series against Zimbabwe scored highest runs in the three T20’s of its career which is 183.
This record of scoring most runs in the first three matches of T20 was previously held by the Sanath Jayasuria of Sri Lanka who scored 180 during his first three T20 matches.
Mukhtar Ahmad scored two consecutive fifties in two matches played against Zimbabwe in Lahore that helped Pakistan to achieve huge targets of over 170 runs in both matches.
By this, he became the first player to receive man of the series title in home series after the huge gap of six years of absence of International Cricket in Pakistan.
Mukhtar played his first T20 match against Bangladesh and scored 38 runs, he played his second T20 match against Zimbabwe in Lahore and scored 83 runs while his third T20 was also against Zimbabwe in Lahore where he scored 62 runs.
