LAHORE – Lawyers forcefully entered into the jurisdiction of Punjab Assembly on Tuesday during a protest staged in the wake of their fellow lawyer being killed by Police Official.
Lawyers from all over the Pakistan observed boycotting courts proceedings and held protests throughout Punjab.
The crisis erupted when Daska police station SHO opened fire on Lawyers who were holding protest in Daska.
The SHO firing claimed lives of two lawyers, Daska Bar Association President, Rana Abbass, and his associate, Irfan Chohan.
The lawyers during their protest outside Punjab assembly forcefully entered into the assembly jurisdiction and started breaking the infrastructure, said sources.
Sources also revealed that enraged lawyers also burnt the security shed inside Punjab assembly.
Government in order to control law and order situation sought Rangers which were being deployed in the surrounding of Punjab assembly.
