SIALKOT: The enraged mob has torched up the DSP office amid protest against the killing of two bar lawyers of Tehsil Daska, in Sialkot district Punjab.
After the incident in SHO Shehzad Warraich ordered to open fire on protesters who were protesting against encroachment campaign in Tehsil Daska of Sialkot, killing two lawyers including bar president Rana Khalid Abbas, violence broke out throughout the province, resulting in a gutted DSP office by raged assailants.
Though the police have arrested the officer who ordered shootout at protesters, the crowd has gone violent, pelting stones on police personnel, police vans  and harming official buildings.
Earlier, officials of Daska Tehsil Municipal Administration (TMA) along with SHO of Daska city police station Shehzad Warraich were conducting an anti-encroachment drive in Sialkot’s Daska Tehsil when local residents and lawyers staged a protest, seeking more time from authorities.
The police opened straight fire to disperse the protesters as a result of which a pedestrian and three lawyers, including the Daska bar president, sustained gunshot wounds.
