LAHORE – The Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif, made a call to Pakistan T-20 captain, Shahid Afridi, on Sunday, to congratulate him on stunning victories achieved against Zimbabwe.
General Raheel Sharif wished congratulations to Shahid Afridi over winning the T-20 series against Zimbabwe, sources revealed.
While talking to one of the Private media Shahid Afridi said that I am very grateful to Army Chief for wishing team Pakistan.

Shahid Afridi told that Army Chief’s call boosted the Pakistani team morale and they would deliver more efforts to bring good name to the country
Afridi also paid thanks to the Zimbabwean team for visiting Pakistan, and also to the spectators for coming in the ground in huge numbers
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan was isolated from the International Cricket since the attack on Srilankan team in 2009.
The drought ended after the Zimbabwe team visited Pakistan to play International cricket on Pakistani soil.
