Pakistan in loss by all means against Zimbabwe

LAHORE: As Pakistan is all set to play One Day International (ODI) series against Zimbabwe from May 26, International Cricket Council (ICC) has warned the Green-Shirts if they loss a single match to Zimbabwe.

Pakistan is at the Ninth position at the points table with 87 point and if they lose that a single match they will drop to 10th position.

On the other hand if Pakistan will win the series 2-1 against the visitors then their point drop to 85 while Zimbabwe’s 2-1 series win will mean Pakistan will slide to 83 points.

England plus the seven next highest-ranked sides on the Reliance ICC ODI Team Rankings will progress to the ICC Champions Trophy 2017.

With only one point separating Pakistan from the seventh-ranked West Indies, it cannot afford to lose any matches against Zimbabwe.

The only way to retain their current position is to win against Zimbabwe by 3-0.
