RAWALPINDI – The Information Minister, Pervaiz Rasheed, addresses the certificate distribution ceremony at Al-Khalil complex Rawalpindi.
The information minister said that he had an old relation of 40 years with the religious seminaries and that the religion Islam always promoted peace and mutual harmony.
He said that the Prophet (P.B.U.H) always taught tolerance and co-existence. Everyone had the right to call themselves Muslims, he added.
While addressing the ceremony, he admired the efforts of Hafiz Khalil in promoting religious harmony and love among the people. He said that Hafiz Khalil taught love irrespective of the faith and sectarian affiliations to promote strength and peace.
He added that he himself had been the student of Hafiz Khalil who never employed the selective tactics of choosing a particular mosque and avoiding the rest of the others.
Rashid said that Hafiz Khalil always had a welcoming heart in the similar way the doors of his seminary were. He put his life to serve Islam and Pakistan needed to follow his teachings the most, he added.
