England Offers Investigating Axact

LONDON – The British Interior Ministry has offered Pakistani authorities their assistance in investigating Axact scandal.

According to the British Interior Ministry, no application had been received from the Pakistani authorities- seeking assistance to infiltrate into the matter.

According to New York Times, the company, Axact, operated from the port city of Karachi, where it employed over 2,000 people and called itself Pakistan’s largest software exporter, with Silicon Valley-style employee perks like a swimming pool and yacht.

It is widely accepted argument that Axact does sell some software applications. But according to former insiders, company records and a detailed analysis of its websites, Axact’s main business has been to take the centuries-old scam of selling fake academic degrees and turn it into an Internet-era scheme on a global scale.
