Land Mafia Arrested In Lahore

LAHORE – The Anti-corruption department arrested seven including three government officials for the fake registry of government land.

Irshad, Mansoor and Barkat Ramzan belonged to land mafia and prepared a fake registry of a 90 canal government owned land near Bahria town Lahore with the assistance of assistant director land record Waqas Malik and the incharge of district record room Rana Shahbaz.

Waqas Malik and Rana Shahbaz pasted this registry in the register in place of a small house which was sold back in 1990.

DCO Lahore sent the case to Director General Anti-corruption unit and lodged the F.I.R against the perpetrators and their accomplices on the request of the same.

The Anti-corruption court rejected the application of Waqas Malik, seeking “bail before arrest”.
