ISLAMABAD – A delegation of Awami National Party (ANP) held a meeting with the Chief Election Commissioner, Sardar Raza Khan, in his office and complains Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s behavior in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) on Wednesday.
According to the sources, ANP’s delegation complained to the Chief Election commissioner that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is allegedly spending public money during their campaign for local government election.
Sources said that ANP delegation urged the chief election commissioner to take notice of the issue because PTI is violating the rules and regulation of the election commission.
According to sources ANP, delegation also called upon the chief election commission to ensure level playing field in order to avoid malpractices and irregularities in the upcoming local government election.
It is also pertinent to mention here that ANP is the real rival of Pakistan Tehreek -i-Insaf in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who had governed the province from 2008 to 2013 and claims high sacrifices for the rights of the province.
