LAHORE – The T-20 squad has been announced to tackle the Zimbabwean cricket team. Shahid Afridi would lead the team as T-20 captain.
The squad includes Shahid Afridi, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Ahmed Shahzad. Muhammad Hafiz, Mukhtar Ahmed, Noman Anwar, Shoaib Malik, Umar Akmal, Muhammad Rizwan, Anwar Ali, Hammad Azam, Immad Waseem. Bilawal bhatti. Wahab riaz. Muhammad sami.
According to the security plan, the travelling route for the cricket teams would be completely blocked and a security equivalent to that of the President would be provided.
The Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has also been invited to watch the cricket matches. The invitation cards for all the four chief ministers have also been prepared.
Special security passes would be issued for getting entrance into the venue. Four thousand police officials and special branch officers will be on duty throughout the matches.
