Lahore High Court Shows Reservations Over Fire Incidents

LAHORE – The Lahore High Court has shown severe reservations on increasing fire incidents in the provincial capital and has demanded reports from the concerned authorities.

According to the sources, High Court summoned the Commissioner Lahore and asked for the detailed inquiry into the frequent cases of fire being reported in Lahore.

The commissioner Lahore assured the court of submitting the report and to take necessary precautions to prevent such incidents in future.

Earlier this week, six children had died due to the fire which broke out in a house in Shadbagh Lahore due to short circuit.

The fire brigade was called in which managed to control the fire, but could not save the children. It was not immediately clear what caused the children to die.

Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had ordered the investigation against the negligence on the part of fire brigade and other authorities.
