CPEC Is A Game Changer For The Region

Lahore – Federal Minister of Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, while addressing a pre-budget ceremony in Lahore, said that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) would be an ultimate game changer for the entire region.

He further said that the Indian frustration over CPEC was understandable. But it was beyond the recognition why some of our own people were against the project.

He said that the unnecessary criticism on CPEC was misleading the general public. He further said that the project was signed in 2013. If someone had any CPEC plan of prior to 2013, he could share.

He said that the route of CPEC was never changed. The Chinese president had also acknowledged the route.

Talking about the developmental projects of south Punjab, he said that the region would soon reap the fruits of solar power project in Bahawalpur.
