I Would Not Give Resign For Firing Incident In Karachi; CM Sindh

KARACHI – The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, lamented that resignation is a baseless demand over traumatic Karachi bus firing incident on Wednesday.

Chief Minister visited the scene in a tight security cover; he initially dismissed Inspector General and later restored him again.

While talking to media Qaim Ali Shah said that it was baseless to resign over the tragic bus firing incident.

He said that terrorism was everywhere in Pakistan and incidents of same nature had also been witnessed in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), did anyone demand the respective Chief Minister’s to tender resignation?

Chief Minister Sindh while talking to media expressed satisfaction over Rangers and Police operations in Karachi.

He said that not a single terrorist would be spared, and reaffirmed the government resolve of bringing the Karachi bus incident perpetrators to justice.

On a question regarding the resignation he said that it was an irrational approach to demand resignation on such issues instead of putting the culprits on trial.

He said that he would resign if his Cabinet failed to meet the desired expectation of masses.
