Another Injured Women Dies

KARACHI – The death toll in the firing incident in Saffora Chowrangi has climbed up to 46, when one more women who was severely injured lost the battle of her life on Thursday.

The women, Nafeesa Farooq, died in one of private hospitals in Karachi, she was severely injured last day and her treatment was underway.

Terrorists opened fire on the bus of Ismailis community and killed 46 persons in total causing 14 injuries.

The funeral prayer of deceased persons has been offered in Al-Azhar ground in the morning on Thursday.

Government of Sindh has announced to give Rs. 5 lac to the aggrieved family of each deceased person, while Rs. 2 lac to each injured person.

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif reached Karachi after the incident and showed resolute to take the Karachi operation to its logical conclusion.
