Agha Khan Calls The Incident As Sectarian Or Political

SWITZERLAND – Prince Karim Agha Khan, the current Imam of Ismailism, said that the Karachi bloodshed might have political or sectarian causes.

While expressing profound grief over the innocent killings in Safoora Goth Karachi, he said that the government should ensure the safety of its citizens at all costs.

Sindh Police Inspector General Ghulam Haider Jamali said that 60 people were on board when some unknown gunmen entered and executed 43 passengers.

He added that the armed men used 9mm pistols in the massacre. The attackers managed to flee after the attack. All victims were shot from a close-range.

Rana M Razzaq, a security coordinator at the Memon Medical Center, told that one young girl had hidden and survived. Three or four others who were brought to the hospital had survived. The rest were all dead.
