The City Of Lights In Bloodbath Again

KARACHI – The six gunmen opened the fire on the bus in Karachi killing 45 people and many severely injured in Saffora Chowrangi in Karachi on Wednesday.

According to Inspector General (IG) Sindh, Ghulam Haider Jamali, the terrorist entered into the bus and shot fire on the heads of the people.

He said that bus was going normally on its route from Al-Azhar to Federal Area B when gunmen entered in bus and opened fire on innocent people.

IG Sindh said that terrorist to be brought to justice at any cost. He also said that we have found the bullet shells of 9mm from the spot of the firing.

Ismaeli Community was the target of terrorists as Agha Khani Community was traveling in the bus.

The Chief Minister of Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, said that this is most tragic incident of Karachi. He further asked DSP and IG to step back from their post due to failure to prevent such issues in the city.

The CM Sindh has also announced the compensation amount of Rs 5 lac for each deceased person and Rs 2 lac for each injured one.

The Interior Minister of Pakistan, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, said that justice will be prevailed and we will brought culprits to the trail.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also condemned the incident in the harsh tone and asked the Interior Minister to submit its report at once.

Many noted leaders including Imran Khan, Asif Zardari, Mamnoon Hussain, Siraj-ul-Haq have condemned the deadly incident.
