Sindh govt recommends removing IG Sindh from the post

KARACHI: Government Sindh has sent recommendation to Interior Ministry to remove Inspector General (IG) Sindh Ghulam Haider Jamali from the post following Karachi incident.

According to details, Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has sent the recommendation to the remove IG Sindh and appoints another IG on his post.

It is pertinent to mention here that unidentified assailants opened fire on the bus killing 45 people and several injured near Saffora Chowrangi in Karachi.

Around six to ten gunmen opened fire on the bus taking more than 50 passengers from Al-Azhar to Federal Area B.

One of the eye witnesses told that gunmen opened fire indiscriminately and killed 41 people traveling on bus.

The dead includes twenty five men and sixteen women, said hospital sources.
