Sindh Govt Announces Day Of Mourning For Ismaili Community

KARACHI – The government of Sindh has called to observe the mourn day on Thursday in Karachi for Ismaili community against the firing incident on Wednesday.

Six gunmen got into bus on Wednesday morning and opened a blind fire killing forty five people and other fifteen are severely injured.

The firing incident took place when the bus was going from Al-Azhar to Federal Area B taking some sixty Ismaili passengers.

The government of Sindh has now announced to observe the day of mourning in solidarity with the Ismaili community.

All the religious and political leadership of the country condemns the attack and showed resolute to bring the culprits to trial.

According to source, police officers will be flying flags at half-mast and prayer will be offered for those killed in an attack.

The Inspector General (IG) Sindh, Ghulam Haider Jamali, said that extremist elements do not want peace in Karachi. He said that we will nab the entire terrorist in this malicious activity and brought them to justice.
