KARACHI- An assault has been conducted on a bus belonging to Ismaili community near Saffora Chowrangi by 6 unidentified gun men on Wednesday.
The attack incurred 45 fatalities and 15 injuries among which 5 are in a serious condition. This is the worst sectarian terrorist activity since January 30, which inflicted 61 deaths.
The details for the recent incident are that the gunmen got into the bus and ordered them to head down, and then the firing started.
The bullet shells of 9mm were found from the place of the incident.
It has been discovered that the driver and two kids were spared from firing; the driver has been taken into the Police custody.
Seven among the injured are being given first aid in Memon Hospital, a nonprofit hospital in Karachi. While five has been shifted to Agha Khan Hospital.

O-positive blood group is required in the hospital on urgent basis, while hospital administration has requested the people to donate blood for the victims.
Inspector General (IG) Sindh vowed to arrest and punish the criminals soon and exclaimed grief over heavy loss of lives been incurred.
Search Operation of police and rangers is underway to arrest and brought criminals to trial.
On the orders of Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, SHO and DSP have been suspended.
Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali khan demanded a report from IG Police Sindh.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif also condemned the incident. Shah Mehmood Qureshi demanded Chief Minister Sindh to resign.
