ISLAMABAD – The negotiations between KPK government and the federal government have come to an end.
The federal government has assured Pervaiz Khattak to solve all the problems related to electricity shortage in the KPK. In this regard, Khwaja Asif has sought a time of one week to address the issues.
The CM KPK along with a number of PTI workers had been having skirmishes with the police since morning.
After some time, Pervaiz Khattak had been allowed to enter the Parliament to put things to the table. Pervaiz Khattak was accompanied by the leaders of allied parties as well.
It should be noted here that the PTI had announced a sit in few days ago owing to the unequal distribution of resources.
PTI is of the view that the KPK is the foremost in terms of yielding electricity. Even then it is being given the least of it, which is the clear manifestation of provincial discrimination.
The three main postulates becoming the bone of contention were unequal and expensive supply of electricity to KPK, modifying the route of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and petroleum issues.
