ISLAMABAD: Death row prisoner Saulat Mirza’s wife Nighat Mirza said that she is hopeful that the execution will be postponed once again.
According to details, Nighat Mirza who is in Islamabad, hoped that the execution of her husband will be postponed once again.
She is making a last ditch effort to save her husband from execution.
Nighat appealed to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, President Mamnoon Hussain and Chief of Army Staff Raheel Sharif to reopen the case for investigation.
She further said she is not meeting her husband for the last time.
Mirza is scheduled to be hanged till death in the wee hours of Tuesday at Machh Jail in Bolan district of Balochistan.
According to jail authorities, four brothers and two sisters of Saulat Mirza met him for the last time in the prison today. Mirza reportedly told his family that he was willing to expose more people if his hanging was delayed. “I have decided to take this step against terrorism,” he said.
All the necessary arrangements are made for the execution while a medical panel has also checked the prisoner.
