Capital Punishment Awarded To Shafqat Hussain

ISLAMABAD – The Islamabad High Court after a long time has finally awarded capital punishment to Shafqat Hussain.

The High Court also rejected the proposal of forming a commission for the confirmation of the age of accused murderer. Justice Athar Minullah had penned down the decision on Friday on the appeal of Shafqat Hussain.

In 2004, Shafqat Hussain had killed a 7 years old child after kidnapping him. The stay order against the execution of death penalty has been discharged by the court

It should also be mentioned that the court gave verdict against the appeal of the murderer for the formation of a commission to confirm his age.
