North Waziristan Rampage Claims Forty Seven Lives

Peshawar – According to the sources, a clash between the two tribes Madakhel and Papali Kabul khel of North Waziristan took forty seven lives and left tens of others wounded.

During the clash both the tribes used heavy weapons against each other. Sources informed that the clash erupted between the two tribes due to the dispute over a mountainous territory.

Both the sides claimed the ownership of a disputed mountain. Upon disagreement and failure to negotiate peacefully, the incident became violent and the two tribes kept exchanging fire for hours.

Sources also revealed that the rival tribes might also have been supported by different militant factions which fanned the incident.
