MIRPUR: Pakistan have finally got the victory in the tour of Bangladesh, as the Green-Shirts outshine the hosts in the second and final match of the Test series by 328 runs played at Mirpur stadium.
Pakistan set the huge target of 550 runs for Bangladesh after declaring at 195-6 on the third day of the match.
Pakistani bowlers bowled beautifully in both innings of the match, Bangladesh got out at 203 runs in their first inning and score merely 221 runs in their second inning.
Batting first in the match Pakistan scored 557-8 thanks to first double century of ODI’s skipper Azhar Ali, and Younus Khan who scored 148.
Yasir Shah took four wickets in the second innings, while Imran khan took two and one each by Junaid Khan, Wahab Riaz and Muhammad Hafeez.
Azhar Ali, Test Cricketer and Captain Of ODI Tead, was give the man of the match and man of the series in second test.
Before the test series Pakistan lost both ODI and T20 series comprised of three and one match respectively.
Both the captains of two formats failed to bring victory for Pakistan even in a single match, and received a first ever white wash from the Bangladesh team.
Pakistan lost the ODI series by 3-0, and also lost the only T20 under the leadership of Shahid Afridi.
The first test match between the two team went draw, and now, Pakistan won the second test match by 328 runs.
