Funeral Prayer Of Naltar Martyrs Offered

GILGIT – The funeral prayer of the martyrs of Naltar Valley crash has been offered in the Army Helipad Gilgit on Saturday.

The tragic incident of the history of Pakistan happened on Friday when MI-17 carrying 19 passengers was flying towards Naltar Valley on the three days trip of Foreign Officials in Pakistan.

Before the tragedy, three helicopters land safely but the fourth one, due to technical flaws, started swinging in the air and crashed in the school building and catches fire.

Seven person killed in an accident including four foreign nationals, two pilots and one officer.

Ambassadors of Norway and Philippines were amongst those killed in an accident, while wives of ambassadors of Indonesia and Malaysia also killed in the crash.

Twelve of the victims of crash got injuries but they are out of danger, Say CMH Gilgit.

The dead bodies are planned to transferred to Islamabad on this (Saturday) morning.
