Irrespective of many warnings received by Karachi University, seminar was held in the full mannerism and many people walked through into the seminar.

The Lahore University Of Management Sciences (LUMS) canceled the seminar named “un-silencing Balochistan” on the night before the event on April 19.

It was 10:50am and around 60 people are standing outside the old brown door of the arts auditorium, whose access has been denied by the KU administration. A member of the Teachers Against War and Oppression, mobilisers of the gathering, says: “So what if the auditorium is not opened, we’ll do it here,” pointing to a large open-air hall surrounded on two sides by beige brick walls.

The mastermind of the event, Dr Riaz Ahmed, an energetic chemistry professor, puts up a large banner ‘Baloch missing persons and the role of state and society’ with the help of some students.

Finally the blocking of hall could not stop the persons to hold the talks in the peaceful manner.

MAMA Qadeer who was also invited to deliver talk read out his speech loud and clears his stance regarding Baloch missing person and justifies his efforts for that.
