Dust Causes Asthma; Say Experts

JHELUM – Experts say that dust particles hanging in the air can cause asthma, and importantly, harvesting wheat crop leaves behind small particles in air which invite asthma.

Most people suffered from asthma due to pollen and many due to polluted air, both of these need to be cautioned and cured in time.

Dr. Hafeez Ur Rehman, President of Pakistan Medical And Dental Corporation (PMDC), addressed a gathering at an inauguration of a free asthma camp on world asthma day saying that we should focus on health and medical issues.

Medical Superintendent District Head Quarter (DHQ) hospital, Dr. Shaukat Mahmood, inaugurated a free camp on world asthma day organized by PMDC Jehlum at department of pulmonary here in Jhelum.

Dr. Naseer Ahmad and Sara Gul were also present on the accassion .A number of Asthma patients were provided free tests with latest equipments and machinery.

On this occasion free medicine and fruits were distributed among the patients.

Dr. Shaukat Mahmood said on this occasion that it is very welcoming to organize a free medical camp on for the poor patients.

He also said that asthma is very much curable disease which needs proper medicine and care to get eliminated.
