Waheed Ur Rehman’s Murder Was Planned In Karachi University; Police

KARACHI – Police sources have claimed that the murder plan of Professor Waheed ur Rehman was made inside Karachi University.

Police officials are of the view that the perpetrators went on a recce before executing the plan. Which means that the surveillance of Professor Waheed ur Rehman was being done by the target killers before the attack.

Waheed Ur Rehman was teaching as an assistant professor in Karachi University’s Mass Communication department.


He was on his way to the University when unknown gunmen opened fire on his vehicle in F.B Area block 16 Karachi; as a result of which Waheed Ur Rehman had lost his life. The incident took place on April 29 in Karachi.

Police claims that it has made a satisfactory development in the investigation of the matter and the killers would soon be behind the bars.
