KARACHI – The former Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rao Anwar, has filed the application to register the case against the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain, on Tuesday.
The Former SSP said that Altaf Hussain has given me life threat in the telephonic conversation with the workers.
Rao Anwar Said that he said in one of his telephonic address that “he will kill me” and said that “I will kill Rao Anwar Using Cannon”.
He said in the application that he is facing the life threat situation and he should be averse with high security in order to ensure the survival and security of him.
He said that this is the duty of the ruling government to provide security to the entire citizen so I beg protection of the government against the threats given by Altaf Hussain.
He said that this is against the very constitution and law of Pakistan to threaten any one like this, so legal action should be taken against Altaf for issuing life threat to me.
He filed the application which also includes some of the clauses of terrorism as well.
Police has not yet taken any action against the application filed by Rao Anwar saying that senior police officials would decide whether to register the FIR or not.
