BADIN – Huge team of police gathered outside the residence of Zulfiqar Mirza to arrest him, due to the trauma he created in the Police station, on Monday.
Five policed mobiles and two armored deployed outside the farm house of Zulfiqar Mirza to arrest him.
His supporters are observing strikes against the report case filed against Zulfiqar Mirza.
According to details, police tried to arrest Nadeem Mughal, a supporter of Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, but his colleagues helped him escape on Sunday.
Former Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader accompanied by his gunmen, forced shopkeepers to shut down their businesses in the city.
Dr Mirza reached the local police station on Sunday, where he got into an altercation with the police officer on duty.
The furious former home minister broke the glass table top in the deputy superintendent’s office, and also broke his mobile phone and hurling abuses at him.
Dr Mirza said that he had gone to the police station to register a case against what he called the attempted kidnapping of his supporter.
He said that a local politician wanted to ‘kidnap’ his supporter and murder him in a police ‘encounter’.
