Pakistani cueist Hamza Akbar wins Asian Snooker Championship

KARACHI: Pakistan’s Hamza Akbar has beaten India’s top cueist Punkaj Advani in the 31st ACBS Snooker Championship on Thursday.

Hamza Akbar has beaten Indian cueist Punkaj Advani by 7 frames to six in the final of the tournament.

This the first time Hamza Akbar from Faisalabad is representing Pakistan in an international event and walking out champion.

This is the first title of Pakistan since 1998 when Mohammad Yousaf won the championship for Pakistan for the first time.
