KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Rabita committee has denied all allegations leveled by Senior Superintendent Police Malir Rao Anwaar and said those all allegations are lies.
MQM leader Haider Abbas Rizvi talking to media said that SSP Rao Anwar lied in front of media that Junaid and Tahir allies Lamba were not arrested yesterday (Wednesday).
Rizvi said they were not arrested yesterday but they were arrested in March and February of the year.
Tahir was arrested on 24th February while Junaid was arrested on 28th of March.
He said that masses vote for MQM in by-poll in spite of all the media trials and allegations.
Allegations leveled by SSP Rao Anwar are part of ongoing media trial against MQM, he said.
Harider Abbas further said that an important meeting was held last night in Bilawal House between Asif Ali Zardari, chief minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah and one other.
It is pertinent to mention here that SSP Rao Anwar leveled allegations on MQM and demanded Pakistan government to ban the political party.
